Tiny Travelers (5 and below) – A trip to the area is not complete without a stop at the famous Ft. Worth Zoo, a short ride to the west takes you to Ft. Worth and all the zoo fun you and the kids can handle. Close by in Arlington is Six Flags over Texas with a special section for the small park goers.
The Mid-Kid (6-12) – The mid-kid will certainly enjoy any of the entertainment mentioned in the section above, as well. But in addition, check out Adventure Landing, Dallas World Aquarium and Hurricane Harbor.
Tweens & Teens – Although the previously mentioned adventure will entertain a broad age range, a few more suited for the older child include the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden – a great place to spend a day with kids. With large picnic areas, a kid-sized pioneer village and awe-inspiring gardens, the Arboretum has things that even the pickiest kid will love.
